Hello,

I have a question regarding website traffic.
My site http://www.nemesiswar.net is using some heavy flash files and images.

To offload the workload on the server, I was wondering what happens if I store these movies and images on a 2nd provider I have and link from my main site to that one.

Is the traffic needed, to load external images and movies, going over my main server or is this directly between the browser to the secondary site.

If someone could answer this that would be appreciated.

I've also been wondering on providing an image download for the people, kind of like a first client version but am not sure how to proceed with this either. Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

Any page content would by given to the browser as HTML, which would then parse it and get any needed content to the browser, so it wouldn't increase the load to your server.

Several game sites offer a download of the graphics to the clients workstation to reduce the bandwith. Any ideas on how this works and if there is a "tutorial" of some kind that explains it?

My system is in trouble (too much traffic) and so am in desparate need of solutions.
