go to my web site and view the gallery page. if you click on a thumbnail it opens a pop up window. this window shows no images, not on my ISP, but it loads ok from my hard drive.

i copied the javascript from another site. the html of the pop up window has on line 11 <script language="JavaScript" src="/javascript/stylesheet_for_platform.js"></script>

i dont have this file because i copied it only. what is it and is it the problem to my picture loading?

its the only thing i can see out of place from both the pop-up window html and the main gallery page html.

All my images are loaded fine onto my ISP. as you can see it loads the framing of the pop-up window fine. Can any one help.

Please help, im new to this.

hmmm... I checked out the site, and the source of the popup.

The image that is supposed to display, is given as GALLERY/sport01.gif

Now, where is that picture??? I typed that in according to where the browser will look (http://mysite.freeserve.com/35mmphotogroup/GALLERY/sport01.gif) however nothing came up. I tried changing the case (http://mysite.freeserve.com/35mmphotogroup/gallery/sport01.gif) just in case, but still nothing.

I would therefore advise you to check the location of your pictures... I didn't check the script because I couldn't find the images. Where did you upload them to?

Another thing to look at is this: If your web server (GeoCities) is a UNIX server (which it is... I used to use GeoCities), you need to make sure that all your letter-cases are the same. Fish.gif is different from fish.gif, which is different from FISH.GIF.

:confused: the image is saved in the same place the main gallery .gif is saved. this location is GALLERY/gallerysport.gif.

what is the java script at the top asking for (/javascript/stylesheet_for_platform.js)?

whatever it is i definately dont have it.

P.S. ill delete all the images for the pop-up window, and then upload them again. see is it changes

problem SORTED. I SAVED THE IMAGES AS eg: sport 01.gif. html showed as sport%2001.gif. this caused problem, started to rectify the problem now. Thanks to all who quoted. thanks
