html email with dynamic text

Hello,

I am not a huge html user. I know some of the basics and a few advanced things that I had to learn at some point, but that's about it.

Here's what I'm trying to do:

I have a page that I created, and I want to send out to customers as an appointment reminder. As each customer is different, I need to be able to change the appointment time and date for each one. The way I am currently doing this is uploading the page to an individual directory on my server for each customer, I then take the graphic that has the date & time in it and edit it in photoshop, putting in their date & time and upload it back to their directory. I then view the page and and choose send page in email (from Safari - I'm on a Mac) and that's it.

This seems to me like a lot of extra work that I could cuit out if I could just somehow have that time & date section pull it's info from a text file or something, that way all i would have to do is change the text file for each customer. If anyone has an idea of what i'm talking about, please help me out.

i don't know if there is a way to do this in html, it would really require PHP or some other server side scripting. i don't know if you could make it an image still....
