Ok, I was wondering if you can use php to set the size of a window, for when you have a link and want that link to open up in a new window. My mind is blown, i haven't written anything in php in a few months and just kind of lazy to do any kind of research on this. Any advice would be cool, thanks in advance.
php is a server side language that has nothing to do with the browser. you need javascript to open a customized window.

Don't be rude. We are a HELP forum, that is what we do.

As EAK said PHP is run on the server and only outputs client side coding to the browser. Any interaction with the browser would require a client side language such as javascript.

...sorry spookster, I wasn't trying to be rude, and indeed I do help out a lot. I think you read my comment and misunderstood my meaning.
However, I am often puzzled why sometimes some people ask questions such as the one that socraties posted, when the answer could easily be found by reading the forums, and especially when they admit they are just lazy.
It doesn't make me feel like helping in a situation like that - but thumbs up to those that still do.

Words can be interesting, my meaning of being lazy, is probally not the same as yours, here is what my definition of lazy is; i have been sleeping in a hospital for the past 4 1/2 weeks with my newborn daughter, and eating the nasty hospital food, and i am exhausted, i have 8 projects due at work by month end, and 3 papers to write by 6pm today for school. I should have used a different word other than lazy, but given this is a lite type of work load for me other than the hospital thing, so I consider this lite work load to be lazy for me.... but like i said lazy for me carries a different definition, than it does for you I am sure. It is my lack of word use today that has brought about this conversation and I apologize for that.
Also thanks spookster, I was thinking i was gonna have to use something like javascript for this, was just hoping that I wouldn't. :)
