GridView prob

hi!

we're doing a website.. and one of the pages has a gridview and a form that is related to it. so whenever i click on one of the rows on the gridview , i want the information to appear on the form. it's like connected...how do i do that?

i have been searching for some codes but seem not to find any..

You can relate a gridview to a formview. When you are configuring the data source for the formview.

First in your gridview have a Select now when you are setting up your datasource for the formview. Under Define Paraneters you set the
Parameter Source = Control
ControlID = GridView1

So now when you click the Select on one of your gridview rows it will show on your formview. The formview requires the selectvalue from the gridview inoder to query the database.
