Generate tables dynamicaly

hi everyone, can someone tell me how to genrate a table in jsp without using scriptlets which is prohibited. according to number of iems in a list.

Is this an assignment? or college work?

first i don't know why u prohibited and secondly its no assignment/college work. it's only me studying by myself and trying to practice. thats all what it is.

I mean. I'm sure you could do it just like a php sort of thing if you wanted, but I'm unsure why you wouldn't use servlets..that's one of the major selling points of JSP.

Have you written anything yet or are you just looking for ideas.. ?
