Hi, I know you will say this goes into the job offers area, but I just need some advice, so that would mean help and not hiring. All I wish to know is roughly how much do you think it'd cost to have something like this done.

2 - 3 Minutes worth, not copying whats on their because it will be different and customed to my website. Or if you can direct me to a freelance website which I haven't really found one yet for flash.

You mean a player like that? Flash 8 and Flash CS3 both have players like that built in. If you need it a bit more custom then www.gotoandlearn.com has some good tutorials on flash video.

I am horrible at graphics, so I wouldn't be able to make it.

If you have Flash 8 or Flash CS3 you can use their built in players. They are pretty snazzy just no to customizable.

I see then why did you post it in this forum? Like you said "I know you will say this goes into the job offers area". Having a professional doing this indicates that you will pay them meaning you will hire them. There are many people I'm sure who could do this job for you myself included.

Well 2 reasons,

#1. Didn't think any freelance flash designers would be around here, and wanted someone who knows some about flash that might know about how much it'd cost to do, or what website I can go to, to hire someone.

#2. Last time I posted to hire someone in job offers I got cussed out and flamed real badly. So I will never do that again.

Without the graphics that job would cost around 40 US Dollars. With the graphics since it would need to be custom made without using Flash components it would take about twice that much.

You may have gotten flamed because you likely didn't follow the forum rules when you posted.

No I followed all rules, I posted a project, put in the amount that I would pay. They are were like "You stupid ***** are you that retarded? No one is going to work for you for that kind of money **** you".

I was hoping to get this short flash animation video done for under $100. Is that reasonable?

Okay I think I've totally misunderstood what you wanted. That animation isn't done in flash. Its a video that was converted to .flv format. It was a normal cartoon probably in .avi or .wmv format. Its not flash animated. Flash is used to play the video.

What you are looking for seems to be an animator possible anime style? I don't have the need to look for an animator but from a quick google search you can also do there are some sites that have freelance animators.

Flash can also do this but I don't know how clean it would look compared to a normal cartoon.

http://www.jabaccreations.com/ seems like they have a good background on animation.
