Greetings fellow coders.
http://www.exitfegs.co.uk/Picchoose.html
This is a menu of hyperlinks. Clicking the chosen link will obviously bring up the page, which is hyperlinked back to the menu.
Unfortunately, when it gets back, the list has re-positionied itself.
Is there a way to get it to return to where it was when the picture was selected?

what about using Anchor links?

Not sure what you mean.
Here is the code.

Give an id to all of your links. Then in the link you click on the larger image add the id of the link for example.
<a href="67a.html" id="67a">67 - It's a long road............in Australia.</a><br>
Then on the link on the large image you would use
<A href="Picchoose.html#67a"><IMG style="Z-INDEX: 100; LEFT: -2px; WIDTH: 1028px; POSITION: absolute; TOP: -5px; HEIGHT: 768px" height=600 alt="Just click to move on." src="66.jpg" ></A>
The link would take you back to the link they clicked. BTW your html for both pages is quite bad. I recommend validating it.

Thank you very much for your help.
I know that the pages are in need of help and I am in the process of learning CSS. All of the numbered pages need putting right but there are over 200 of them and it is taking time. The main menu "Picchoose" validates with my CSE validator program although it does comment some of the code.
My plan is to take up your suggestions and I will try to put the pages right using CSS as I give them an ID.
I have done the io's up to page 60
Looks like a busy week ahead.
thanks again.
