Hi,

I have a number of record in a database eg. 120 records.

How do i allow the users to view the first 20 records... and underneath have like...

[1] [2 (http://#)] [3 (http://#)] [4 (http://#)] ect. 20 on each page.

Like what you see on the bootom off google when you search for something.

Can any one help or point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

The term you want to search for is pagination, there is a great deal of examples.

Good luck.

If you're using ASP then you will need to use something called recordset paging.

Here's a pretty good article on it:

http://www.codeproject.com/asp/rspaging.asp

Other options include doing the paging entirely in javascript (sorry haven't ventured down that path).

asp.net also makes paging much easier but I'm going to assume you're stuck with just plain asp.
