Using the HTML <form> codes, how is the html_form_action.asp information receiving page setup?

Oh, I mean since we can't see html_form_action.asp we have no idea. Post some code, a link to the page (although since it's ASP a link might not be too helpful), or something.
This also sounds like more of an ASP question, but essentially the "name" attribute of form inputs are retrieved from ASP by using <% request("name") %> in the form's action page. (I think, I'm no ASP programmer)

This is where my question originated. The HTML codes are given but how to receive the input is not explained.

Ah, ok… html_form_submit.asp is the w3schools example file. Here's the part that you need:
When the user clicks on the "Submit" button, the content of the form is sent to another file. The form's action attribute defines the name of the file to send the content to. The file defined in the action attribute usually does something with the received input.
What language are you coding your site in?

I do a web site for the village where I live. I do it in HTML. That is the extent of my programming knowledge. Setting up this method of collecting information may be over my head.

Well, you could always use the "mailto:" action on your forms. It'll send the form data to you via email. It's not very secure or adaptable but it might do the trick for you.
Google "html forms mailto" for a bunch of articles on how to get it going. Hope this helps…

Thank you very much. I will try that method.
