My requirements are simple, the concept is simple, but the project may not be so simple!
We require a developer to advise, consult and develop a system for us. This system, in brief, is an online directory of companies (subscription paid but not via the net). Customers should be able to visit the site, find a company of their choice based on category and location, and place an order through our website. There should be online and offline payment options. The order needs to be delivered to the company immediately via some method of communication that is yet to be decided (after consultation of integration with this system). Orders need to be tracked and reported on. Only regsitered members can purchase through the site and orders need to be tracked for each customer so a reward scheme can be implemented (accumulation of orders over time = discount).
I am aware how difficult this may be due to having multiple vendors needing to receive information meant specifically for them, but this is a paid project that I require external help with.
My only experience with web design myself is simple HTML/CSS, with limited knowledge of PHP. Most systems I have used in the past have been open source CMS but this job is too complex for an 'off the shelf' system.
I can provide you with an example site of exactly how I want the website to operate that is currently successful and operational today (nothing to do with us).
