Ok, I really need all your help and I would even be up for contracting this small job out to someone who can professionally complete this for me please.

I have a website that is framing another site (both ours, but we can't get to the code of the site being framed). Here is the website: www.madisonhousehunter.com (under construction) and it is currently framing our corporate site so we can do property searches and stuff. Basically, we want to only frame the portion of the other site from the search tabs (search by city, etc) and down to the end of the century21affiliated logo.

I've done some looking into this, and the only thing I could find is possibly using xml xlink or xpointer for this. Can someone help? We are will to contract this out. Please email me or pm me. Email to: do@c21affiliated.com

Thanks!!! We need this asap!

The solution wouldn't be enough to charge you for. I see only one way of doing this. Make another page (call it page1.html) on madisonhousehunter and put this in it

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
<title>Property Search</title>
<style type="text/css">
iframe {
position:absolute;
top:-100px;
left:0;
}
</style>
</head>

<body>
<iframe src="http://mathweg.c21affiliated.com/VirtualToolkit/PropertySearch/#search" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" width="564" height="650"></iframe>
</body>
</html>
Now on your main page where you have this

<iframe src="http://mathweg.c21affiliated.com/VirtualToolkit/PropertySearch/#search" width="564" height="550"
frameborder="0" scrolling="no" id="myInlineFrame" name="myInlineFrame"></iframe>
Change it to this

<iframe src="page1.html" width="564" height="650"
frameborder="0" scrolling="no" id="myInlineFrame" name="myInlineFrame"></iframe>

I havenít read the thread thoroughly but as to the iframe thing if you are getting a page on your server anyway you could even use the object element instead of an iframe. That way it would be valid (X)HTML strict, more accessible (if alternative content is provided), and forward compatible.

<object data="page1.html" type="text/html">
(fallback content if object not supported)
</object>

Read http://joliclic.free.fr/html/object-tag/en/index.php, or http://joliclic.free.fr/html/object-tag/en/object-text.html (for sepcific solution)
