Logo Design

Hi All,
I have been thinking for weeks and could not come out with a nice logo for my personal website.
Therefore I decide to post this up and see if anyone of you can give me some ideas on how to design a logo.
The logo will consist of words "Knetworks Cornerstone" and the whole logo has to be design using one single colour, which is Blue.

Why the one colour?

I was going to say something about that but decided it was your choice.

With 1 single color you are limited in graphic design you can't add bevels shadows glows texture translucency/parency.

I agree with previous oppinions: 1 color limits too much; if you only want to use blue, at least use different tonalities (i.e: playing with white, dark blue, light blue, ...)

Also, I find the combination of font types ugly; the "K" isn't integrated at all: I read "networks Cornestone". Why don't create a logo playing with the K and he C and then put Knetworks Cornerstone at bottom?

the poor girl asked for a ONE COLOUR LOGO... blue...

I have knocked up a quick one that I am sure will fit the bill ;) and unlike the previous one submitted, this fits the specified requirements! :D

heheh, I was having a laugh because everyone was debating the spec, i.e. 'one colour' so I simply stuck to the letter of the law lol ;)

...oh and I should probably point out that I did in fact design a wonderful logo, lots of effects etc. lovely text... oooo it looked lovely :D

however, because I had to do everything in one colour, unfortunately you can;t see any of it! Oh well! ;)

graphics isnt my kinda thing... but if you mean networks as in computer networks, this one might be ok:

otherwise a slightly more abstract background could be wanted...;)

the blue is #4544D0 - apoligies for the lack of graphics know how... i usually get someone else to make mine :o
