PHP Work? (not an ad)

Hey Im just wondering about this..

I think PHP is an amazing language and very enjoyable, but how come
when i search for jobs there aren't many for PHP? I know Im not skilled
enough to do it but i love learning it. It seems like all the server side jobs
are going to ASP.NET with VB.NET, is there any reason why?

Sorry i dont know much about ASP.net but is there a benefit that is so much
greater than PHP?

More job postings for ASP and VB because less people know it,
and therefore, a shortage of those proficient.

Many companies also go with microsoft technologies because they can get official support with it. Many companies are afraid of integrating open source type products.
