on someone else website when someone
click on a certain link on that page.

i know its a bit of spam but is it possible
to do such a thing

even if it were possible, i'm pretty sure i wouldn't tell you how to do that, since it would go against most of the things i believe in.

Sure it's possible, but you'll have to ask the webmaster of the site in question what he/she wants in return for creating a popup window of your site, since obviously you wouldn't have any control over another site's content, unless you hacked it - and this is the wrong forum for that kind of question.

Keep in mind that most of the people I know (including me) close popups before they are finished loading (at least when I'm quick enough in hitting Alt+F4).

I also doubt anyone would willingly put a popup to another site on theirs unless it was a porn site or some other money grubbing scheme - in which case you would have to pay for it. :)

well I am not going to hint how to do it, but its very possible and its not even that bad of a hack. :D imagine if everybody who knew how to do malicious things did them. I don't think this is a very smart thing to do.
