Thoughts please?Conteo 05-28-2007, 04:12 PM http://bw-online.co.uk/index.html Thanks mlseim 05-29-2007, 02:26 AM Too bad the blog doesn't have the same look as the main page. It looks like a totally different site. You should do some of your "creations" on the main page and get rid of all the talk about having a pleasant experience and the fact that it's your first site, etc. Give people a taste of your creations right away ... make them interested to see more. Thanks. I dont know really what I am going to base it on. Maybe photographs etc. I dont know how to make wordpress look like the site, looks pretty hard to do. mlseim 05-29-2007, 02:02 PM With Wordpress, you need to find the CSS files and start customizing. It takes a little bit to figure it out, but it can be done. I have replaces my css with the css that is in one of the WP themes, but obviously it doesnt know where to get the images from etc and theres no HTML so it isnt structured, so what now lol? mlseim 05-29-2007, 07:30 PM When you view the blog HTML source, you can see where it's looking for the CSS file: http://bw-online.co.uk/blogger/wp-content/themes/itheme-1-1/style.css Looking at that CSS file, you can see where the background images and such are found. You need to change those paths to the images you now have for your main page background, colors, etc. Make a copy of the original CSS file first, so you can get it back if needed. It takes some experimenting and playing-around, since the page widths are also different. You'll need to change some page sizing also. With all of this customizing, you'll learn a lot about CSS (I guess that's a good thing). |
