Hi,

I'm currently the owner and operator of a site called The Poker Plaza.
I'm looking for an entreneurial partner who is interested in a project
and willing to do some work on adding content and updating the site.
I do all the leg work with supplying content, exchanging links,
contacting affiliate managers about setting up exclusive bonuses and
private league tournaments. I also have a spreadsheet listing all
160 poker rooms of which I have affiliate accounts set up with every
single one of them.

A poker player would be great for this position but not necessary.

If anyone is interested in some sort of partnership, drop me a line
at riverstevens at hot-maildotcom

Best Regards,
Steven Lariviere

Entrepreneur's generally dont do grunt work unless its going to pay dividends in the future.
Your site traffic is very low, what plans do you have for marketting and traffic boosting?
What is your monetization strategy?
If this is a profit sharing opportunity what kind of profit-split are you offering? What is your timescale for RoI?

It sounds to me like you dont want or dont have time to do the grunt work for the site but cant afford to employ someone - which says to me the site isnt making any money currently - so unless you have a business plan that will make the site profitable once the content is added then its not a very attractive proposition.

BCarl made a great post about profit sharing and collaboration here (http://codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=114606), which is a nice way of informing members on what to be weary of. I see no need for him to lay out his entire business strategy and marketing scheme in these forums. If you want more information, message him. Thank you.

I never said he had to offer monetary compensation but in a partnership some kind of renumeration or split is typical, whether thats monetary or otherwise and since this isnt an intellectually challenging position, its not unreasonable to expect some sort of incentive.

I happen to be looking for collaborative projects that interest me.

By asking questions publically, I'm giving him the opportunity to prove to anyone else who might be interested that he's not just another 'get rich quick online' kid expecting someone to just do his work for no incentive other than a warm fuzzy feeling for helping someone.

Let's try to keep this thread on topic in a civilized manner please.

ThePokerPlaza - Can you provide more information on what you are hoping for out of a partnership? Will this be an equity position that the programmer is working towards? Elaborating on this will help you get better responses.

Thanks
