View Full Version : IE7 condition css link only works sometimes

I have a shared head on my app which includes

<!--[if IE 7]>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheets/ie7.css" />
<![endif]-->

It works on SOME pages, but not all pages! The link is in a single file that appears on every page of my site, so I can not for the life of me figure out why the styles in it are only applied on some pages, even for the same elements (such as buttons in my header which also appear on every page).

I can not show you a live version at present.

I have tried clearing my cache, and restarting IE. Nothing is changing the fact that only some pages are parsing the IE7 css file.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Nope. Why can't you show us a live page? Help us help you. Its not like we can magically find out what the rest of your code looks like. For all we know there is another stylesheet overriding the one you are trying to use. The conditional comment should contain the last stylesheet in the head of your document.
