Hi all,

Today I noticed that Firefox shows a directly lickable RSS logo in the address bar (FF 2.0) when it knows the site or page you're browsing has a feed available.

Eg: http://www.plugim.com/

But I can't work out how Firefox knows there is a feed.
Eg: on this page/site (http://www.board-crazy.co.uk/tricktionary.php) that also has a feed available the icon does not appear.

Does anybody know what factor decides whether the icon appears?

If you look in the head of the first site you linked to:

<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS 2.0" href="http://www.plugim.com/rss2/"/>

That is how it knows there is a feed there.

Thanks for that. Um, yeah, I looked real hard for that... :thumbsup:
