Does anyone know how to import windows media audio files into java programing: I tried,

I've never put sound in a Java appplication, but here are some links I googled.

http://www.rgagnon.com/javadetails/java-0191.html
http://www.jsresources.org/examples/SimpleAudioPlayer.java.html (Here they define an external_buffer_size)
http://www.jsresources.org/examples/
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/sound/programmer_guide/contents.html (Chapter 4)

Good Luck.
