Hey.. I'm glad you opened this!

I'm wanting to design a website that features the best links of the day, & I figure the best way to choose the right product for my task I've set forth is ask people who also deal with the internet every day

I want to use a CMS that would suffice for my limited knowledge of MySQL. It will need to list around 100-120 new links a day, and some of those will be only accessible to registered users.

Ideally, it would also allow users to Sort the links by:

User Rating
Newest
Oldest
Link Expiration
Randomized?

My favorite so far is " PhpMyDirectory" . I also thought about using Joomla, and then purchasing an additional module called "MosetsTree" but user reviews are not great as to flexibility.

So, for those who know any CMS systems (free or purchase) that sounds like it would fit the bill, I would love for you to let me know :)

My company is just about to start using mysource matrix, from squiz.

Seems like it could help you out.

Its open source, check it out at http://www.squiz.net/

They're all really helpful, there's about 15 of them working in an office in London.

Have a look at their site, and either ask them or me any questions.

There's no benefit to me in recommending them, just to let you know

Thanks
