styling a search button like this

hi everyone, i am trying to style a search button like this - backbase.com/demos/bbsearch/ - but without using images. is it possible? i have looked at there style sheet and it seems complex. can anyone give me a simplier example ?

No not without images mainly because of the gradient. They use this for the background image

Then they just change its background position. For their rounded corners they have 2 more images, one position:absolute to the left and one position:absolute to the right.
