multiple image rollovers?

hi guys! I would like to do rollovers in my layout. when someone rolls over a balloon, I would like it to move up, and then I would like her expression to change. I have decided that I want to do this with rollovers. is this possible? my background image is already one giant image, and I would be loading two images at the same time when they rolled over the balloon. all the codes I've seen are for single images, over another single image. are there any codes that would be helpful for me? thank you

well, you can have as many events in a function bound to the mouseover event as pleases you. However, an HTMLElement may only have one background image. I think to get the effect you desire, you'll need to position a couple of divs and then update their background images.
