Extra gubbins allowed in sitemaps?

Hi all,

I generate sitemaps in accordance with the google sitemap schema. Will the googlebot mind if I put an xsl style sheet reference in my sitemap header? I presume the googlebot will just ignore it. This would seem like a sensible thing for the googlebot to do!
