tutorialstuff 04-21-2007, 08:15 PM Hello,
I'm near completion of my website tutorialstuff.com (http://tutorialstuff.com) which is a tutorial archive site that I've been working on the last few weeks. I Was hoping to get some feedback from fellow developers/designers.
All feedback, bad or good, is appreciated.
Thanks - Mike
twodayslate 04-21-2007, 08:24 PM Very nice. Good work.
tutorialstuff 04-21-2007, 08:28 PM Thanks I appreciate it.
Have any critiques by chance?
-Mike
napster 04-21-2007, 08:37 PM Good work!
However, I would change the banner at the top, make it more eye catching, with lighter colours.
tutorialstuff 04-21-2007, 08:48 PM I agree, I'm not too thrilled with the banner. I Was thinking of having a contest for users to create the banner once the site got up and running. I'm ok with my graphical skills but am not too create as far as logo/branding designs.

tutorialstuff 04-21-2007, 09:07 PM Awesome guys! Once the forums are up and running I'll need some good mods, I'll definitely keep my first real visitors in mind!
Thanks again and tell your friends! - Mike
napster 04-21-2007, 09:11 PM Nice one mate. Perhaps in the future, I could submit some of my tutorials there?
twodayslate 04-21-2007, 09:33 PM One thing though, has nothing to do with the site, some of the tuts were quite blurry. It hurt my eyes.
especially stuff from: 0tutor.com
ex: http://www.photoshop.0tutor.com/archive/56/4.jpg
tutorialstuff 04-21-2007, 09:51 PM Which tutorial did that come from?

twodayslate 04-21-2007, 10:15 PM The first one

tutorialstuff 04-21-2007, 10:23 PM I see what your'e talking about. If you notice though, my site opens in a top and bottom frame when looking at tutorials so it's actually the other persons site who has the poor image quality. Good eye though!

I know, I was just letting you know.
tutorialstuff 04-22-2007, 03:43 PM Anyone else have some constructive criticism for my site?
-Mike
tutorialstuff 05-02-2007, 08:32 PM Just to note, I've added a news section on the right for now that I hope to update about 4-5 times a week with different site news or self tidbits.
sarahbee 05-03-2007, 04:06 PM IE Mac stuff is sitting wierdly at the bottom of the page. The background does not extend to the bottom or the content is hanging outside the background, whichever way you want to look at it. ;)

kosstr12 05-19-2007, 03:18 AM Great site! navigation is easy, seems easy to use...love it!
NuneatonSam 05-19-2007, 04:51 AM Looks great, however do you realise that ASP is different to ASP.NET, you have grouped them in the same category, but they are totally different.
