Some of you may know I'm trying to come up with a business name and I'm struggling.
Anything I think of is either taken or crap or just too long.
So I'm running a little competition - prize $500.
I want a name & logo minimum (if you cant design, feel free to submit just a name for a lesser prize ($150)
Deadline is 25th April - I know thats not much time.
A bit about the business: I'm a 'sole trader', working on a wide variety of web projects/products. The name must reflect the variety of work that I do -eg. not be specific to any one project - as such I'm not going to say much about the projects that I'm working on. The only thing they really have in common is that they're all online ;) I also freelance for other companies trading under my own name so that need not be considered.
The main focus of the company is b2c end product kind of stuff - ie. products created under the company name are to be launched or sold by the company - we produce web products and projects, we are not 'for hire'. (That's handled by my personal freelance side which will be phased out')
I work mainly in php and ruby on rails with mysql.
The .com and .co.uk domains must be available for the name you choose
The name must not be offensive or obscene
The name must not be taken by an other company.
You must be able to produce original artwork that can be opened/editted in inkscape or photoshop
