I am currently trying to build a portfolio, and this is my first website. It's not done yet, the page has non-working links. However, I would be very interested to hear feedback and receive comments on improving the loading time and the design. Thank you!

Popups are bad; remove it.
You are advertising porn in a way with find the best models; remove it.
The site looks ok, otherwise.
I have designed two real estate or property sites: here is one:

The page looks OK, in my opinion. Nothing very outstanding but certainly not bad.
However, mousover buttons and drop down navigations can all be done with CSS nowadays (except IE needs a little JS help):

CSS image mosueover button (http://wellstyled.com/css-nopreload-rollovers.html) (although I prefer the button states above each other)
(Son of) Suckerfish Menu (http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/dropdowns/)

Also I hope you are going to have a proper doctype (http://htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/doctype.html) in your document on launch?

The page is a little too wide, people using 1024x768 resolution on their monitor, even with the browser maximized are going to have to scroll horizontally. You'll want to look into making your layout narrower.

Huh?

What does huh? mean?

I saw the advert that said find the best model click here or similar but it had a chick on it.
so you say huh? because you did not click any links, so you did not see it.

Cheers

Please tell me oracleguy since you are a moderator why I am unable to edit my fist posts on this forum?

I'm not sure on the time length but I believe its around 2 hours, you can no longer edit your posts. I believe a more detailed explanation of this rule has been said in the feedback forum if you search for it.

I didn't see it because I have the pop-up blocker running in Firefox with Adblock. It wasn't clear if you were talking about something you saw on his page or an ad coming from the free Tripod hosting the OP is using.

Thanks for the reviews. however, westmatrix, for one i don't know anything about pornos and best models. The page is being hosted by tripod and i don't know what they are showing. Please try to ignore those advertisements as they are not part of the true website.
Also, VIPStephan, what do you mean regarding the DOCTYPE? I placed mine as Strict.

Cool will do, I just saw it when I clicked on a link.

Cheers
Otherwise it looks OK, when will it be complete?
