Did you use a CMS or template? It seems pretty full featured... I really like the concept. The look of the site is decent, but the use of fixed-width areas limits the amount of info you can display. The "action" all takes place in such a small area (in relation to how big the window is), it makes me a little bit clausterphobic.

More comments:

The "Your ad here" thing-- I assume that will be where the banner ads show up?

The notes section works ok, but it would be nice if the list of notes wasn't inside a bordered table, and didn't take up such a tiny area of the screen. That hold true for the whole site, actually-- I have this huge monitor but the information I'm interested in is encased in this tiny little 1x3 inch table.

It would be nice to see a preview of the detailed text on the summary page. (i.e. the first 100 characters)

To make the notes more searchable, you may want to allow people to add a list of search keywords. This should be optional. Or, what about a dropdown for class subject? That would at least categorize every note into a general category. (math, physics, music, grammar, etc)

The "study flash cards" doesn't want to let me progress through the cards unless I click "view answer" but that turns on the answers for the rest of the study session. The "back to last card" seems like a link that isn't a link. It seems like "flash cards" is only about half done, actually.

Searching: When you don't do something right on the search page (missing keyword, etc) it gives you the error message but you are no longer on the search page. It would be much better to keep the search page up and add the error message to it so you don't have to hit "back" and then re-enter search criteria.

Searching: It would be nice if the first radio button (or the most likely radio button) was already selected when you open the search page, so it's not necessary to click a radio button.

Searching: I added a url www.google.com but then I searched for the keyword "google" and it did not find the url I entered.

To-dos: Be nice to see these in a columnar report with the ability to sort by date/time with a "x days x hours left" column (would require a deadline field).

Mail: The images you used for "inbox", "saved", etc, are almost illegible; they look like captcha images :p Plain text would be better than those images.

Pictures: Would be nice if you could view them in a grid, rather than in one vertical column.

Classes: I assume this is not yet done?

Forum: Seems to work ok, but is pretty spartan.

Pictures: You are depending on the browser to do the work of compressing images to fit certain areas. It would be better to create thumbnails of uploaded images and use those thumbnails. I didn't upload 100 pictures but if I did, that pictures page would take forever to load (especially on a dialup connection).

Is that enough feedback for ya? :D

Yes, Thank you very much for this. No the classes feature has not yet been put up since it is implemented with the teachers section and that is not up either.

I will work on these suggestions.

I think the visual aspect of the site is very unattractive. It also seems that you are hoping for alot of users to be hitting this site. So, I would suggest not having an entirely graphical layout. Some graphics are fine but having the entire site comprised entirely of them for a large site (supposed to be large site) with alot of traffic will increase your b/w usage and decrease speeds.

Also, the layout/design isn't appealing at all. I do not like the colors. It is too dark. Gray is a no no in abundance. Way to bland. Check out other sites' color scheme, get some ideas. But I strongly suggest changing your theme/layout.

I love the concept though, really cool idea.
