about Fedora 6

i want to install Fedora 6 onto my laptop. I was able to download Fedora 6. Do you know if this download ->(zod binary i386) is the compatible version for Windows 2000 Pro? If so, how can I create a partition on my laptop to have the second partition use Fedora 6?

you need to download the version that it compatible with your hardware not the OS, but the i386 should work for intel based machines.
Not sure about fedora, but most distro's have some form of disk management available during installation.

BACK UP (to external source) anything important before you try for the first time though.
