spyware removal problem

over the weekend my brother let some of his stupid drunken drugged up friends on my computer somehow they managed to find a way to install SPYWARE!
now in the icon try theres an icon which is the MS windows help and support (?) and changes to a sort of no smoking sign without the cigarette and back every second or so the bubble says SYSTEM ALERT!
There has been a number of spyware operations found running on this system + some other crap,

i ran SPYBOT S&D, AVG (free edition) and its still there, i removed around 68 spyware items and thats still there, is this some sort of adaware trying to get me to install more software or original MS spyware protection (or alert) and how can i get rid of it?

thanks this is a good tool. although i had to download a 'LIGHT' version because active x isnt allowed :S (funny it works on every other site) but it found a lot that spybot and AVG didn't 1 high priority so far (still scanning)
what it did find is mainly
TrackingCookie.*
there is things like paypal and googleadservices where the wild card is
pretty concered about the security of my PC when im not around, does my brother infect my computer then? i'll add a password and see how he likes it :D

don't sweat "tracking cookie" too much
There is a cloumn there that says the threat level.
BTW They bought AVG

Try Lavasoft Adaware Personal and XoftSpy as well. Both are good tools which are part of my "kit" for this kinda stuff.

See if it's listed in Add/Remove programs, and run Hijackthis and post the contents of the log here.

i fixed it now, i wont be getting any more spyware/adware for a while. but thanks for the info, ill do it if i ever get any again
