I have bought a copy of Championship Manager 3 (the PC Game) off eBay, but it won't play.

I have installed it successfully and tried to run it from Start>Programs but it says "Not Supported on Windows NT"

What is this all about? I thought I might be able to change the 'compatibility' to run as Windows 95.....but it doesn't work then either.....

My OS is Windows XP Home Edition on a Samsung V25 Laptop - P4 - 512MB RAM - 80GB HDD.

Any suggestions on how to run it?

Go look for a patch / fix that will support "NT" otherwise make a dualboot system where u actually can run windows 98 .

I had the exact same problem, i'm not sure if it was the game or my computer but i found that whatever i did nothing worked.

So instead i bought Championship Manager 01/02 and then looked around and found the updated season list, there are sites out there that update the season after the transfer windows (both summer and january).

that way you can play arguably the best version 01/02 but always have updated squads etc :)
