What is the best forum script the ones i have come across are:

phpBB
VBulitin

Any others or should i code my own?

Code your own if you want to learn php. It'll not be something you can do in a day though.

I use invision board. Love the control and how easy it is to hack

The very best is vB, but it's fairly expensive. There's also YABB, and several others. Just have to search ;)

I've used PHPBB quite a bit, and it is pretty nice. I just started using SMF too, and I have no complaints so far. In addition, making templates for SMF looks to be pretty easy.
