Ok for the second time now I have been on remote desktop to my windows server and accidentally reset my windows firewall, thus locking me out of it because I cant fix it over remote desktop.
I will end up yet again spending a silly amount of money getting someone at the data center to simply open a port for me.
I really need a way of changing the default firewall settings so that I dont keep locking myself out of my server. I found something about netfw.ini but that seems to just be profiles that point to the registry and the registry contains the current settings not the default ones as far as I can see. Does anyone know how to change the default settings?
