I deployed a web application to a local webserver on our intranet. We access it with http://servername001
Now I am trying to get people in another location to use it. They can access the web app from IE7 if they turn off their Proxy settings completely (i.e. Uncheck "Use a proxy server for your LAN...")
For obvious convenience reasons it would be nice if they didn't have to turn off their proxy settings every time they want to access my web app. I have instructed them to check "Bypass proxy server for local addresses" and add "servername001" to their exceptions list.
