I'm quite new to ASP, but every bit of programming I learned I learned not from tutorials and primers, but from referance sites and editing scripts. That's what I need for ASP, can any one give me a good site to get scripts, and a site I can use as referance material?

Giving credit to whammy (who referred me to this site)... this is arguably one of the best sites for ASP. It's quite comprehensive.

Actually I have to give the original credit for someone recommending that site to me to an old colleague who used to work in Customer Service with me (he wasn't even a programmer!)...
...and actually I would recommend a book as an even better reference, Beginning ASP 3.0 by Wrox.com. It's pretty easy (a heck of a lot easier than the .NET book I'm wading through right now!!!), and once you get through chapter 15 or so you should be able to dive into most anything with a fair amount of confidence.

I've been there. It's a tutorial site, I'm not sure what it is but I just can't seem to learn too well from tutorials. I'll check out that book (but is it just me, or are programming books over priced?!?!).
I just went to aspin.com and ended up on 2 different sites, but they all look helpfull. Thanks.

Might wanna try http://www.liquidrage.com and don't forget http://www.4guysfromrolla.com ...
BTW, that book may be "overpriced" but it was well worth it to me, since I got a job as an ASP developer and wasn't totally blind because of it. :)
Oh yeah, another decent site is http://www.haneng.com - some pretty good basic tutorials! :)

Good luck! :) ASP is pretty easy, you shouldn't have too many problems with it. :D

Yeah, it is pretty easy. I have played around with it for a bit but I was just too busy to keep it up. It shouldn't be any trouble at all for me seeing as I already know JScript and some VBScript. If any one else knows of some other sites please tell me. But again, what I'm mainly looking for is a place to get scripts that I can edit and toy around with.

In that case the 4guysfromrolla.com site may be your best bet... they have some very good examples/articles from what I've seen...
