Please Review my site. MoonShyne Software does not belong to me, I just built the site. It belongs to my friend.

Thanks

Have you taken a look at the site in Firefox? You've got serious issues.

I KNOW. It's so annoying. I am not sure how to fix it though.

Get rid of float:left; on #main and get rid of the height on #navcontainer. Why would you put up your site for review if its not ready to be reviewed yet?

I think Aero might mean that they could have posted in the other forums first for advice on how to fix the problems in Firefox before asking people to review?

Anybody testing the site is bound to come and say, "Doesn't work in firefox" and leave it at that. The fact that the poster knows that their site doesn't work in firefox means they could have foreseen this.

That said.. this is about the review of the site.

I think they layout is really quite nice, although I would probably try and center it personally, and make the page slightly longer, avoid some of the unnecessary scrolls. I am glad to see divs instead of IFrames though. I like the colours, and the menu rollover looks nice and clean. I would make sure there is a consistent font as well, your feedback form uses Times, which doesn't look good.

It's definitely worth moving away from a free web provider, investing in hosting.

Thankyou for the replies. It now looks MUCH better in firefox! YES! haha. But the #main div is a bit too tall. Is there anyway to slim it up?

How it is supposed to look? It looks the same in IE7 and Firefox.

well, I would like the bottoms of the two nested DIV's to be even. But when I view it on my computer in Firefox the NAVCONTAINER div is much shorter.

You will need to make a repeating background image. This technique is commonly know as faux columns (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/fauxcolumns/).

There's no scrolling available for this site. That's interesting.
