Adding a text editor to "Edit with" buttonmouse 06-30-2002, 11:40 PM IE6, WindowsXP, adding EditPad Pro to the button, how's it done? ...sure this would help others too ;) boxer_1 06-30-2002, 11:57 PM Try right clicking on the file you'd like to edit with EditPad pro while holding down the shift key. The menu will now include an option called 'Open with', choose browse and navigate to and choose EditPad Pro. This may not make edit pad the default application to edit that type of file with, but it will add it as one option when right clicking. I believe there's another way to set this, but can't recall it right now. Aside from that, there may be options you can set for this within EditPad Pro? mouse 07-01-2002, 12:31 AM It opens in Editpad already  just it wasn't on the button, so it doesn't actually matter  Thanks anyway :o x_goose_x 07-01-2002, 02:25 AM http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q163606 |
