View Full Version : navbar goes flush left in FF, but is ok in IE

Hi,
I am trying to find a solution that will make my navbar display in the correct position on all browsers. It seems to work ok in IE6 and 7 PC but FF is left aligning the entire navbar (as if FF won't obey the left margin on the menu).

Goodmorning bz78,
I struggled with this one for a while - off and on for a couple days now. Mostly because it was on my recomendation that you got rid of the div and styled the ul instead.

Anyway, I put an XHTML 1.0 Strict DocType on it and it works now. The old HTML 4.01 Transitional was not letting the ul id be styled at all and I don't know why...

Anyway, with the stricter doctype you may have a little more trouble validating. I quoted the entire code here because I changed all the uppercase letters (not allowed ) to lowercase as required.
Works good here, sure hope it does for you too:
