Little rectangle at top left of screen

I just built a new system with a Radeon X1600 graphics card and Gigabyte motherboard. I have a small rectangle (about a quarter of an inch high and an half an inch wide) at the top left of the screen. Actually, it is in from the left edge about a quarter of an inch. The Mystery Rectangle is lime-greenish and doesn't move, flicker, or seem to do anything. :confused:

Does anyone have an idea of what this is? Video driver issue? Or maybe something to do with the DVI connection to the monitor? I was using VGA connectors with my old Radeon X1300 card and never saw this rectangle.

If the rectangle doesn't appear on a screenshot it's most probably a problem with the monitor/it's connection.
