Well, a bit more background would be helpful. Being new to web design, do you know any languages? HTML and CSS are your basic design languages, but for the type of site you are implying at, you would need to know, or at least be familiar with, JavaScript, PHP, maybe C...I'm not the expert at this, but I hope that gives you a general idea of what you might need to know.

for anything multiplayer, especially logging in services, you definitely need server side scripting power, like ASP, JSP, PHP, and what have you.

Check out the server side forums, and well, try to learn.

I am learning .php from scratch, and well it is great. My site is at the mo completely in .php, and I am lovin it!

Ah, server side languages. I expected something like that to be needed, just wasn't sure. Heh, I learned something. Ah, and that type of thing rules me out for any sort of further help, unless maybe design help was needed, I'm fairly good at site layout/design.

I am really new to this whole thing so I don't know what ASP, JSP, and PHP are so if thats what I need would you please post some info on them or maybe a site where I could learn how to use them thanks again for your help
