newb q; size of recordset

Hi,

So i executed a sql stmt and stored the results in a recordset. Is there like a "sizeOf" function that will return the number of records I have?

I want to display something like "there are xx of things from your search"

Just for reference
Using SQL you can use COUNT (http://www.w3schools.com/sql/func_count_ast.asp)
Using ADO you can use RecordCount (http://www.w3schools.com/ado/prop_rs_recordcount.asp) - with the correct cursor. Also other methods (http://classicasp.aspfaq.com/general/why-does-recordcount-return-as-1.html)
Using ASP you can use a loop (http://www.w3schools.com/vbscript/vbscript_looping.asp) of the recordset (http://www.w3schools.com/ado/prop_rs_bofeof.asp) and a counter

You can figured the recordcount by selecting proper cursor
