Retrieving email password

I’ve just set up a new Windows XP system and I want to get my email up and running. I’ve retrieved the old emails from the previous Outlook (on a different hard drive). So far, so good.

But I can’t send/receive new email because I need my password which I have conveniently forgotten. :o (the password is on the second hard drive and on my laptop). Is there any way of retrieving it?

yeah hit the Email provider. There are tools that help u "break" in into these email accounts, but i'm not sure about the policy in here :)
