Hi there,

I am looking to make a javascript hover menu. Like the main hover menus at websites like...

http://www.godaddy.com

and

http://www.mediatemple.com

How can i do this? Are there any tutorials? And is javascript the best language to do this in, or ajax or web2.0 ?

activating by mouseover, down, up, or click is easy.

mouseout which the menus use for closing the menu is tricky due to event bubbling.

Have a snippet that takes care of this but do not know your level of expertise.

Suggest you have a go at a menu, many examples available.

Then post your code for assistance if required.

Ok,

Im not really that great at javascript, but is there any tutorials on the internet explaining how to do this.

I cant really write javascript, but when i have it from a tutorial or something, i know how to edit it.

when it comes to hover menus, I usually recommend the Suckerfish Dropdown (http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/).
