My sister's pc broke down and I decided to give her my laptop as a replacement. She's very happy with it, and I will use this event as an excuse to get something a little bit more powerful.

Basically, what I'm looking for, is a laptop that will play all the latest games smoothly. So as far as a GPU, I want to have something equal or higher than the nvidia go7600. But I also want to stay below $1500. Here's what I got so far:

Dell 1705: nvidia go7900. The problem I find is the size(17inch). So is the go7900 really worth it? (rigth now I'm getting 25% off, so it's a pretty good deal)

Sony FE980: nvidia go7600. But as usually, overpriced.

And lastly, I found this cyberpower notebook:
http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/ntbkx649550.asp?v=d
It seems like the best option, however, I had never heard of cyberpowerpc before. Does anyone have any experience with cyberpower pc laptops? Are they reliable?
On the other hand, I get way more features than with anyone else, most notable: 3 free games, free webcam, and free built in biometric fingerprint sensor :)

Please tell me what you think, and if you think there are better options out there, please tell me so. Also, if you think I should wait till DX10 gpu's for laptops tell me so(I can probably live 1 month without a laptop, but don't know when dx10 gpu's for laptops are coming out).

In my experience, I've had the most success with dell laptops. What do you have against the size of it, too big? or too small? I feel the same way about the third option, I've never heard of them and that would make me nervous. Also what games do you plan on playing, because some of the highest end games, you may still have problems with on any laptop that I've ever seen. The 7900 should be great in the laptop for most games currently on the market though. Only thing that sticks out to me is the dell would probably give you better battery life than the cyberpower option.

looks like the base of that system is MSI (MicroStarInternational) known to most system builders ... If had not bought my Acer I would have got an MSI or a BenQ instead ....

They only have a 1 yr warranty though .. all BenQ's come with 2 as standard now , not sure what Dell do, but whatever you buy , if you can get an extended warranty get one.

Than you for the replies.
Actually it's not the size of the dell that really scares me, but the weigth. The Dell I-1705 is about 8 pounds, where as my previous laptop was only 4, and still, I sometimes found it hard to carry arround

The previous computer I had came with a Nvidia go6200, and most games I have, ran pretty smooth. I suppose I could just get away with a go7400 which is far supperior than the 6200. But what I'm concerned is that DX10 has come out. I guess than in about 3 years most games that come out will require either a DX10 capable gpu, or a really high performance DX9 one.

I'll look into BenQ, see if I find anything good, Acer I tried to look at, but their website is extremely slow, making it hard to chose a system.

I have to agree with you brad, that dell is very reliable. Of all computers I have had, only dell and sony proved to be high quality. I had 2 hp's and a gateway broken down, so I'm trying to avoid those brands.

EDIT: Just found out that radeon has recently launched the x2300, which many think is a low end DX10 gpu. In about a month from now they plan to launch the X2600, which is also DX10 capable, but will have a higher performance. I think I'll just wait for that.
