If I have an image that is missing from a link, rather than having the generic browser image show, is there someway to have another image of my choice show up?

I'm not sure how you can do that, mabye with cgi or a server-side language but i do now that you can place text in the image if the image doesn't show

like this: <img src="sldfjsdf" alt="Sorry This Image isn't Here Right Now">
