Listing and linking files in dir

I have a really neat ASP script that list all my files in a folder and makes hyperlinks to them. It even strips off the first 3 charachters and the .pdf so the name is more readable.

Sadly my new web host does not support asp. Is there something else i can use?

Anyone have a code like this that is not asp?
