I work for an IT recruiting firm and a client of ours in Baltimore has a contract-to-hire position for a PHP Developer.
The company is a small, fast-paced company looking to grow. Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript is necessary, along with proficiency in Apache/Linux. Some of the responsibilities with this position include:
- Developing browswer-based applications using both proprietary and open source tools
- Full-life cycle development involvement
- Participating in external and internal project meetings and contributing exciting, creative ideas
- Providing end-user tech support for developed software
- Assisting with the maintenance of a routine backup plan for all internal and client data
