Hey guys im writing a custom signup sheet for IPB does anyone know how to encrypt the password and where should i store the encrypted passwords in mysql?

Passwords should be hashed. Generally MD5 is used for this, but not always. There are entire support communities that will be able to more accurately answer your questions.
