Your post is incredibly vague. You need to provide more information.

If it is any help, I have had my dell notebook for a year and a half now and I am extremely happy with it still. Any one you buy from will let you customize the laptop online as well so you get the exact system that meets your needs without paying for extra if you don't need or want it.

If you are thinking about Linux ... now or in the future... get one with nVidia graphics ... as for dell's and hp's .. I find the higher end models are fine but the lower end ones suck (same goes for Acer/Toshiba)
BenQ is always value for money as are MSI.

I have a `great` Acer aspire 5002 120Gb/1G/Turion64/DVDrw/wifi/bluetooth etc... but its a poxy SIS graphics chipset (I was expecting different graphics altogether) so a great comp` as long as you dont want any decent 3D for Linux... so I know from experience that you really, really have to think about this stuff (more carefully than I did)
