inline frame breakouts

I would like to place a website inside an inline frame but when I click on certain links within the site (with target="_top") it breaks out of the inline frame - well, my inline frame is in the middle frame of a set of three my end.

Is there a way to force the inline frame to contain whatever happens the other end and not have it break out of my frames?

I doubt that this is possible. You can’t edit a page in an inline frame from the containing document unless perhaps you control both the containing and framed documents. Allowing you to do otherwise would be a security issue for the framed Web site. I believe that someone asked the opposite of what you propose (forcing iframed links to open in a new window) and there weren’t any solutions.
